"Meeting Autumn" through the artists' exhibition

    The autumn exhibition opens on September 20 and runs until September 26 at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts (97A Pho Duc Chinh, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

    The exhibition titled Autumn Meeting by 4 painters over 40 years old and one painter - their teacher, painter Ngo Dang Hiep - over 60 is like an interesting coincidence with quite different things, not only in color, time but also in space, in many subtle emotions that each of them understands and realizes without having to express in words.

    The exhibition originates from their memories and recollections of the years they spent at a prestigious teacher training school in a coastal city in the Central region, when painter Ngo Dang Hiep was a lecturer and the four members of the group were students of an art pedagogy course.

    After graduating, the four brothers lived and worked in many distant regions with many things to think about and worry about in life, but the passion for creativity still burned in each of them; then the idea of ​​meeting each other in this exhibition was truly a colorful gathering of teachers and students full of emotions.

    Associate Professor Dr. Phan Thanh Binh (Hue University of Arts) commented: "This is an exhibition of a group of 5 painters from two generations, but they do not make the public pay too much attention to the age gap in their careers, because they are connected by common points of passion for their profession and overflowing emotions that cannot be hidden."
    “Tranh cua ho rat khac nhau o sac mau voi nhung net my cam rieng lang dong va khong kho de nhan dien moi nguoi trong do.     “Their paintings are very different in color with their own unique aesthetic features and it is not difficult to identify each person in them.     Regarding the works of the five artists, curator Ngo Kim Khoi commented: “Ngo Dang Hiep’s painting language is the brilliance of colors. Looking at Hiep’s paintings, the first thing that catches our eyes is the thousands of sparkling rays where hot colors reign supreme.”
    “Chung ta cam thay con tim rao ruc hoa ban dong ca hanh phuc truoc Ben Xuan tran ngap co hoa, dua chung ta ve noi chon co nhung giac mo tuoi dep binh yen cua mua thu mo mang trong anh vang ong a, Chieu trung du voi mau dat ung do vao buoi hoang hon, dau day tieng sao dieu hoa minh trong anh ta duong…” - Kim Khoi.
    “We feel our hearts fluttering in unison with the happy chorus before Ben Xuan, filled with flowers and grass, taking us back to a place with beautiful, peaceful dreams of a dreamy autumn in the golden light. The midland afternoon with the red color of the earth at sunset, somewhere the sound of the kite flute blends in the sunset light…” - Mr. Kim Khoi.
