The film "Ba Bich" has an intimate screening with the participation of the crew and cast including Tang Huynh Nhu, Mai The Hiep, Gi-A Nguyen, Huynh Thi, Tran Kim Hai, Long Dep Trai, director Giang Thanh and producer Quoc Bao (representative of TKM Production).
The project is introduced as a collaboration between the actors and the producer, aiming at the spirit of "bsolutely taking photos" - that is, the actors themselves perform the action scenes to bring the most authentic feeling to the audience.
Tang Huynh Nhu said she has been nurturing the project for a long time, wanting to challenge herself in a more edgy and multi-dimensional role. The actress decided to perform all the action scenes herself without using her body position or accepting injuries to create her personal mark.
In the film, she plays the daughter of the character played by Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy - a girl who grew up in a working-class boarding house, has strong courage, is ready to stand up to protect the disadvantaged and follows the clues to break up a human trafficking ring that is quietly rampant in the neighborhood.
To serve the realistic elements, TKM Production invested in building an entire working block with a scale of its own film studio. According to producer Quoc Bao, the construction of the setting requires months to complete every detail, from alleys, boarding houses to community activities. Thanks to this investment, many actors and guests felt like they were standing in the middle of a real residential area, not a stage.
The film Ba Bich is inspired by real stories related to human trafficking - a burning issue in many poor working communities. The film reflects the situation of many young people being lured by invitations for "easy work, high salary", even being deceived by their own relatives, leading to mysterious disappearance and inability to contact. Since then, Ba Bich's investigation and struggle journey has been gradually revealed, recreating the hidden corners of society from a close and emotional perspective.
