The work marks Dustin Nguyen's return after 6 years of absence from the Vietnamese screen. This time, the actor no longer pursues the familiar action image but transforms into Mr. Tri - a wedding theater builder who is somewhat edgy but full of inner depth. The role is considered to be restrained, focusing on emotions instead of technique.
Notably, the film also features MisThy - a million-view streamer who is trying her hand at cinema for the first time. In the role of Thy, a youthful but hot-tempered wedding organizer, MisThy brings a new color, creating an interesting contrast when collaborating with Dustin Nguyen. The dialogues between the two characters are considered the highlight of the film.

Another highlight is the appearance of Jun Vu. The actress plays the bride Phuong Anh with a different image, both luxurious and containing many inner conflicts. This is considered a shift in her acting style when she is no longer only associated with gentle roles before.
Besides the young cast, the film gathers many veteran faces such as People's Artist Trung Anh and Dinh Y Nhung, contributing to creating depth for the story. The participation of Hoang Phi and other young actors helps the overall film balance between entertainment and emotion.
The movie "Song hy lam nguy" exploits the setting of two weddings taking place at the same time, in the same place but with different circumstances. One side is a luxurious wedding party, the other side is a popular wedding theater. When the guest list overlaps, a series of paradoxical situations occur, pushing the characters into difficult choices.
Director Vu Ha said that the film aims to reflect familiar slices in life, especially Vietnamese wedding culture. The combination of a cast of many generations is expected to create a natural and multi-dimensional interaction.
The film is scheduled to premiere nationwide from April 3, after early screenings on April 1 and 2.
