On September 26, the official behind-the-scenes episode about the setting and art design of the movie "Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story" aired.
The scenery of Phu Yen in the movie "Once upon a time there was a love story" appears full of nostalgia and romance thanks to the efforts of the entire crew to exploit the settings.
Two important scenes filmed on a cornfield were the scene where Vinh and Phuc burned down the cornfield when they were 12 years old and the scene where Phuc and Mien parted ways on a stormy night, which the crew paid special attention to.
The crew of the film "Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story" planted each corn plant over the course of 3 months. However, heavy rain and storms in Phu Yen at the end of the year damaged the corn plants, leading to the crew's decision to urgently buy 3,600 mature corn plants and replant them right before filming.
The setting of the film "Once upon a time there was a love story" takes place between 1992 and 1997, so the crew also focused on accurately recreating life during this period.
Producer and cinematographer Trinh Hoan and the art design team transformed the agricultural drying yard of Hoa An Agricultural Seed Farm (Hoa An commune, Phu Hoa district) into a cultural house yard to film the large-scale mobile film screening scene, using old-fashioned film projectors provided by the Phu Yen Department of Culture and Information in conjunction with the Mobile Film Center.
The movie "Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story" is scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide from November 1, 2024.
