According to the production crew, this year's Gala Nhac Viet aims for a positive start after a year of many upheavals. The theme "Bright New Year" is built as a message to encourage the audience to enter the new year with optimistic energy.
The program is expected to introduce more than 10 songs composed specifically for Tet, combining many musical colors from cheerful, youthful to nostalgic melodies.
This year's stage is designed in the direction of combining traditional cultural elements with modern style. The crew said that the goal is to create a highly aesthetic performance space, while still maintaining a spirit of closeness to the audience during the Tet holiday.


General director Tran Thanh Trung shared that the program expands the theme of expression, not only revolving around spring but also exploiting social and emotional stories. This approach aims to create a multi-colored program, reflecting many levels of emotions.
The list of participating artists spans many generations and styles. Audiences will witness combinations such as the opening performance featuring BB Tran, Tang Phuc, Ngo Kien Huy, Gin Tuan Kiet and Tieu Minh Phung; the joint performance of Ho Ngoc Ha with Bui Anh Tuan, Giang Hong Ngoc, GiGi Huong Giang, Thanh Thuy. Young music groups such as LUNAS, Xuong Rong, UPRIZE also appeared, contributing to creating a modern color.
Besides, there are duet performances such as Huong Tram - Vo Ha Tram, Minh Tuyet - Quoc Thien, Lam Bao Ngoc - Saabirose, Hoa Minzy - Thai Le Minh Hieu, Min - Bui Cong Nam. The program also recorded the return of familiar combinations such as Bui Anh Tuan - Hien Ho, Luong Bich Huu - Thanh Ngoc - Yen Trang, or Cam Ly - Quoc Dai. The solo performance of Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Nhi and Tung Duong is expected to bring highlights.
Born in 2013, Gala Nhac Viet was founded by director Tran Thanh Trung. Gala Nhac Viet Tet 2026 is scheduled to be broadcast on YouTube Gala Nhac Viet and HTV7 channel, with part 1 airing on the evening of February 11 and part 2 on New Year's Eve on February 16.
