On the evening of July 1st, at the Grand Concert Hall, Vietnam National Academy of Music, the opening ceremony of the Crescendo International Music Festival 2026 took place.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Tuan Long - Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports - emphasized that the Crescendo International Music Festival 2026 is an important foreign cultural event, contributing to promoting the image of Hanoi - City for Peace, Creative City and a destination for international cultural and artistic events.

Mr. Pham Tuan Long acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Organizing Committee, units accompanying professors and artists at home and abroad who joined hands to build a professional, humane, and educationally valuable art playground for the young generation.
Speaking to welcome at the program, Mr. Mattia Farriss - Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Vietnam - highly appreciated the significance of international cooperation in the fields of culture, education and art; and affirmed the role of Crescendo in connecting young talents, strengthening cultural exchange and opening up many new cooperation opportunities between Vietnam, Vietnam National Academy of Music, Vecchi-Tonelli Conservatory in Modena (Italy) and the international art community.
This year, Crescendo welcomes more than 1,300 Vietnamese contestants and nearly 70 international contestants from Japan, Korea, China, Brunei, Austria, Canada, India, Malaysia and many other countries and territories gathering in Hanoi.
The opening ceremony opened a colorful art week, further affirming Crescendo's position as a prestigious international music forum, where young talents shine and the humanistic values of art are connected and spread across all borders.
