On the evening of October 22, the Organizing Committee held a ceremony to announce the top 60 contestants entering the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024.
At the press conference, Master Pham Kim Dung - Head of the organization of Miss Vietnam National - shared: "The winner of Miss Vietnam National will represent Vietnam at the Miss International contest".
Miss Vietnam 2024 includes the National Cultural Costume competition to honor unique fashion ideas that contribute to promoting Vietnam's traditional culture, affirming the preservation of national cultural activities throughout the beauty pageant projects that Sen Vang brings.
The 10th Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest will also be held as an activity within the framework of the Miss Vietnam National Pageant to introduce to the public creative and talented designs in the Vietnamese fashion industry.
Notably, the contestants will bring their talent in home economics, cooking, and flower arrangement to the contest this time.
In the final night, the contestant was crowned in a special ao dai and phoenix robe designed by designer Tran Thien Khanh, to highlight the femininity, power, and splendor of the winner.
The new format will be introduced for the first time in the final night of the competition. That is the national costume performance inspired by 54 ethnic groups of the top 60 contestants, followed by the swimsuit performance.
After being named in the top 3 and the second runner-up, the two remaining beauties entered the top 2 interview to choose the first runner-up and the new Miss Vietnam.
