On the evening of May 22nd, musician Nguyen Minh Cuong introduced the song "Until When" performed by Quang Trung within the framework of the "Music Diary 8: Frostdrop Diary" project.
This is the 8th season of the music project initiated by Nguyen Minh Cuong since 2019, inspired by love stories and emotional levels in life. Over the years, Music Diary has become one of the few personal music projects in Vietnam that is continuously maintained by a musician.
To date, the project has had the companionship of more than 20 artists with nearly 50 compositions, creating an impression through many songs such as "Flowers bloom colorless", "Very sad", "The saddest thing when in love", "We go our separate ways" or "No need to apologize".

If previous seasons were mainly loyal to narrative ballads, Music Diary 8 marked a turning point in Nguyen Minh Cuong's musical thinking when adding R&B color to the mixes to reach young audiences.
The musician said that after the health incident in the past year, he has had many changes in his views on life and music.
The event came like a low note in life. It took me quite a long time to get back to composing. When I came back, I wanted to refresh myself in the harmony and arrangement but still maintain my inherent inner color," he shared.
This season, each song is assigned to an artist with their own color to perform. The project opens with "Sea cannot keep the sun" performed by Nguyen Ha with a poignant melody and many metaphors about broken love.
Next, Hoai Lam brought "Màn sương" with a calm, emotional color. Meanwhile, Quang Trung attracted attention when returning to music with "Cho đến bao giờ" - a gentle Pop Ballad set in a love story under the autumn sky of Hanoi.
According to Nguyen Minh Cuong, Quang Trung has a soft voice and delicate handling suitable for the spirit of the song. The male artist also spent a lot of time listening to and feeling the song before entering the recording studio.
After Quang Trung, Music Diary 8 will continue to introduce "Twelve Seasons of Remembering" performed by Le Hieu on May 26 and "Endgame" with the combination of Duong Edward and Nguyen Minh Cuong on May 29.
