In the Korean film group, "Life's Lesson" is the most prominent name when it attracted 48.2 million views in less than a month of release, becoming the most watched Korean work on Netflix during this period.
Not only leading Korean content, the film also entered the Top 10 most watched works globally in the first half of 2026.
Besides "Life's Lesson", many other Korean movies and series also recorded impressive achievements. "Squid Game" continues to maintain its appeal with 14.4 million views in the first half of the year.
According to Netflix, non-English-speaking works account for more than one-third of total viewing time, of which Korean content continues to hold the largest market share.
Not only TV dramas, Korean reality shows, movies and children's content also attract a large audience worldwide.
Notably, many TV dramas broadcast on Korean stations also expanded their influence thanks to Netflix.
Works such as "My Royal Enemy", "Agent Kim Reboots", "Today is sold out again", "Investigator Hong", or "The War in Us" are all released by the platform to international audiences.
In the film industry, Netflix continues to invest heavily in Korean films with original projects such as "Dai Hong Thuy", "Pavane"... and distributes many theatrical films to the global market.
