The exhibition takes place from June 10 to June 16, 2026, with the official opening ceremony on the morning of June 13. The event introduces more than 90 works by 54 painters, recreating a period rich in imprints of Southern Vietnamese fine arts.
Right from the opening hours, the exhibition space welcomed many visitors. Many people spent time learning about each work, exchanging about the creative style as well as the artistic value of the paintings. Many collectors and art lovers recorded images next to their favorite works, creating a lively but still full of appreciation atmosphere.
The exhibition was attended by painter Uyen Huy (Nguyen Van Muoi), painter Le Vuong and many artists, researchers and painting collectors in Ho Chi Minh City. The presence of many generations of painters contributes to creating an art exchange space, where stories about old Saigon painting are shared with the public.

According to the organizers, the list of participating authors spans many generations with many familiar names such as Ta Ty, Thai Tuan, Nguyen Sao, Nguyen Van Ro, Tran Kim Hung, Duong Tuan Kiet, Georges Khanh, Kim My Yen, Ngo Viet Thu, Nguyen Tri Minh, Le Thanh Nhon, Vo Doan Giap and many other artists.
The highlight of the exhibition is the diversity of materials and expression styles. Viewers have the opportunity to access works created with oil paint, lacquer, silk and many other materials. Each work carries its own mark, reflecting life, people, landscapes and social changes through each period.

Among the works introduced are the painting "Journey" by painter Nguyen Sien, created with lacquer in the 1970s, or "Thoi Van" by painter Tran Kim Hung, created in 1966 with oil paint. The works not only express aesthetic values but also preserve cultural and historical slices of a special period in Vietnamese fine arts.
Many visitors said that the exhibition brings a feeling of returning to the art space of old Saigon, where painters have left strong creative imprints. The colors, images and characteristic brushstrokes help viewers feel more clearly about the flow of Southern art over decades.
According to Mr. Tuan Nhipphong - representative of the organizing committee, the exhibition "Echoes of Saigon Past 3" is open free of charge for visitors to see paintings, free of charge.
The exhibition is an opportunity for the public to enjoy valuable works and also contributes to connecting today's generation with Vietnamese art heritage. The exhibition is expected to become a rendezvous for collectors, art lovers and those interested in the cultural values of old Saigon.
