Bolero Vietnam 2026" has closed, Hoang Anh (from An Giang) won the runner-up title with the song "La última thư cuối cùng" (The Last Letter) by musician Mong Long. This achievement marks the journey of many efforts of the young man who once gave up the Pharmacy industry to pursue the path of music.
Born into a family with a 5-generation tradition of goldsmithing, Hoang Anh once studied Pharmacy according to the wishes of his loved ones. However, his love for bolero music has never faded.
Since I was little, I have been passionate about bolero as if it flowed in my blood. After many years, I finally had the courage to ask my family to pursue my passion and am very happy when my parents support me," Hoang Anh shared.
A major turning point came in his final year of university when he broke his ligaments while playing football. The injury forced Hoang Anh to give up his favorite sport, and at the same time lost direction with his studies. Music helped him find motivation to start a new path.
The moment he was named at the recent final night, Hoang Anh said that the first thing he thought of was grandparents, parents and those who always accompanied him throughout his journey to pursue art.
