On the afternoon of March 7, to express gratitude and great support for the film after nearly 3 weeks of release, as well as on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8, the producer of "House of Ancestors" will organize the "Mother's Banh Xeo" festival from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.
The audience only needs to bring a paper ticket to watch the movie "House of Ancestors" to exchange a carrest for free and participate in exchanging with actors, signing up to give away posters, taking free photos, playing games to receive gifts.
Before the event to thank the audience with 1,000 banh xeo, "House of Ancestors" also released a segment of the characters Gia Minh, My Tien and their family pouring banh xeo from the official film.
The meticulous special effects footage of the banh xeo was done by director Huynh Lap in collaboration with director Chung Chi Cong. Not only does the film bring a beautiful image of this dish, but it also introduces to viewers in detail the steps of pouring traditional banh xeo and each ingredient to make the cake.
