On March 6, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had a plan to organize Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025.
The organization of the event aims to affirm the position, role and importance of books in improving knowledge, skills, developing thinking, education and training human personality; encouraging and developing the reading movement in the community, creating a favorable reading environment; forming the habit of reading in families, schools, agencies, and organizations; contributing to building a learning society.
The event is scheduled to take place from April 18 to 23 with events focusing on propaganda on mass media, grassroots information systems, electronic information portals/pages, social networking sites, and mobile information systems.
Khanh Hoa province will develop a TV program on reading culture, Vietnam Book Day and Reading Culture and organize the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Book Festival 2025 (abbreviated as the Book Road Festival).
In particular, activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day will be held at book distribution facilities in the province.
