Japanese boy band ONE OR EIGHT had their debut performance in Vietnam within the framework of Tokyo Girls Collection Vietnam 2026 taking place in Ho Chi Minh City on March 29.

In parallel with the event, ONE OR EIGHT members expressed their excitement when they first met Vietnamese audiences. The group said they had recognized the interest of the Vietnamese fan community through social networks and could not hide their emotion at this warm affection.

Debuting in August 2024, ONE OR EIGHT consists of 8 members, pursuing a music style that combines global pop, hip-hop and electronic music (EDM). From the early stages, the group attracted attention with the song "Don't Tell Nobody", and also made an international mark with the product "KAWASAKI" in collaboration with rapper Big Sean.

At the beginning of 2026, the group released the mini album "GATHER", including 8 songs conveying messages of solidarity and aspiration to rise up. The title track "TOKYO DRIFT" impresses with an energetic melody, clearly expressing the "dare to challenge" spirit that the group pursues.

According to shares from members, the stage at Tokyo Girls Collection Vietnam 2026 is carefully prepared from staging, choreography to interaction with the audience. The group hopes to bring energetic performances and create an impression in their first appearance before the Vietnamese public.

This is the first time we perform in Vietnam, so we have prepared very carefully. We hope the audience will feel the energy and spirit of the group," said a representative of ONE OR EIGHT.

In addition to performance activities, the group also expressed their desire to expand cooperation with Vietnamese artists in the future. According to ONE OR EIGHT, connecting with international artists not only helps diversify music colors but also contributes to bringing Japanese music closer to global audiences.

During their stay in Ho Chi Minh City, the members had the opportunity to experience cuisine and explore local life. The group said they were impressed with the vibrant atmosphere of the city as well as the friendliness of the people.

Choosing Vietnam as the next destination in the international journey shows the potential of the domestic music market, while opening up opportunities for cultural and artistic exchange between artists in the region.
