In the movie "Stolen Happiness", the lives of Mrs. Chat's family (played by Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy) with Thien Nga (played by Quynh Lam) and Binh An (played by Tuyet Nhung) have created new changes.
Binh An - Anh Duong's (Ngoc Lan) biological daughter got lost and was adopted by Mrs. Chat. During their time together, she favored her biological daughter more, creating a distinction between the two children.
Thien Nga was well fed and well dressed, while Binh An was busy doing housework and helping his mother sell beef noodles. Viewers felt sorry for her, thinking that Mrs. Chat was mean and hateful.
For Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy, Mrs. Chat is the most miserable, miserable and not lovable role. She and her daughter have to hide from debt, carry a child “fallen from the sky”, and struggle to make a living by running a beef noodle shop.
Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy shared: “This is the longest role of a hateful mother I have ever played compared to previous series, causing frustration for the characters opposite me. I always play austere roles.
Recently, a friend or audience even nicknamed me "the most beautiful midwife on screen". I think that is a compliment, because people no longer see me through my beauty but through my character with a hateful, austere appearance. I find that interesting".
Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy said that taking on a poor role like Mrs. Chat has the advantage of costing costumes even though the role has a long duration. “Mrs. Chat is the only poor role in the film that makes Ngoc Lan, Hong Anh and other actors jealous because it doesn’t cost much for costumes. The simplicity of this character becomes an advantage,” said Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy.
The movie "Stolen Happiness" airs at 18:50 every Friday to Sunday on VTV9 channel.
