Right from the teaser poster, the producer attracted viewers when showing the dramatic confrontation between Thai Hoa and Thanh Son. Both pointed guns at each other, as a symbol of the uncompromising struggle between good and evil. In the frame, next to them is the image of the hostess played by actress Kaity Nguyen hugging the child as a reminder that in the midst of the struggle for life and death, there is still a fragile life that needs protection.
If the poster made a strong initial impression, the teaser trailer made the audience hold their breath even more. The teaser of The War in the Air chose a bold approach: Go straight to the center of the event. The plane robbery took place, the air group completely controlled the situation. In the narrow space of the cabin, the character Long (played by actor Thai Hoa) and three accomplices controlled all passengers and crew, pushing them all into a state of red alert.
With just a cool first line: "If anyone loses their hand, they will be shot dead", the character Long quickly created a sense of absolute oppression. The teaser continues to reveal a series of dramatic situations - from the pilot getting shot in the head, to the moment the flight attendant was controlled with a knife and threatened to "cut off his arm". No longer a threat, the characters are now truly standing between the lines of life and death.
Notable scenes such as the pilot being shot, the plane's schedule being changed, or the receptionist being threatened with a "cut-off" not only show the seriousness of the incident but also emphasize that every decision can be exchanged for life.
