On the afternoon of March 31, the film crew of "The Geography" held an early screening in Ho Chi Minh City. During the exchange after the film was shown, Thai Hoa shared with the audience about her role as Bay Theo.
When asked about how he got his experience to act in films, he said: "I have met veterans and heard them talk about the war against the US of the Cu Chi people. I also researched YouTube documents about war and geography."
Thai Hoa said that throughout the film, there are psychological segments that seem difficult, but if they are grasped closely, it will be simple. As in the segment of Bay Theo asking about the fate of the character of Uncle Sau and his young comrades when discovered and arrested by the US, although they did not receive a direct answer, through the sad eyes, the audience also felt that Bay Theo knew the truth.
When acting in this segment, Thai Hoa did not feel any difficulty but felt happy, acting again, sometimes acting for herself, sometimes for her co-star and seeing that filming day was very smooth.
Meanwhile, actor Quang Tuan confided that receiving the role of Tu Dap in the film was a "privilege" for him. When he was able to get into the film, he always tried his best. Fortunately, he was given experience by director Bui Thac Chuyen, arranged to meet and talk with the armed forces hero To Van Duc - who contributed to creating commune bombs and mines to destroy many enemy tanks in the campaign war in the geographical area of Cu Chi. The character Tu Dap is inspired by the armed forces hero To Van Duc.
"I talked to him and heard about the lives of the uncles and aunts during the war. I am very cute, share many things, teach them to do this or that" - Quang Tuan said.
The film "terrestoration: Sun in the dark" recreates the life and fighting process of the nomads in the Cu Chi terrain during the resistance war against the US. This project was prepared for 10 years and launched on April 4, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
