According to Box Office Vietnam, the film "geography: Sun in the dark" has achieved a total revenue of 11.5 billion VND. Of which, on April 3, the film sold more than 25,000 tickets with a revenue of 1.8 billion VND.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 2, the film distributor announced that it had sold 60,000 tickets, about three times the number of tickets of the 24 films currently shown at the cinema combined. The film is currently rated 1,897 screenings as of April 3.
However, it is worth noting that the nights of 2.4 and 3.4 are only the early screening of "The Geography", the film will officially be shown nationwide on April 4.
Thus, although not officially released, the film "The Geography" has surpassed "The Golden Road" to temporarily hold the No. 1 position at the box office.
Currently, "Ao Dai Lo" is ranked second on the Vietnam box office chart, the film has more than 2,000 screenings, earning a total revenue of 26 billion VND, according to Box Office Vietnam. Of which, on April 3 alone, the film only sold 200 million VND in tickets, lower than "The Geography".
