The producer has just released the teaser poster and teaser trailer of the movie "Hero", thereby revealing the first details about the controversial story surrounding a charity donation.
In the teaser poster, the character Mr. Hung played by Thai Hoa appears with a messy appearance when hugging his daughter running in panic. Next to him are two characters Tuan (Vo Tan Phat) and Vinh (Doan The Vinh), creating the central trio of the story.
This image raises many questions: are they trying to save people or are they being dragged into a charity fraud staging.
The teaser trailer, more than 2 minutes long, opens with Vinh livestreaming calling on the community to donate money to help Mr. Hung and his son - a single taxi driver with a young daughter who is seriously ill.
At the same time, Mr. Hung appeared in a dangerous situation when climbing out of the railing of a burning apartment building to rescue people. After this action, he was quickly praised by social networks as a "hero".
However, as the amount of donations increased, many suspicions began to appear. People creating content online flocked to Mr. Hung's rented room to question the transparency of the charity money.
In a tense scene, Mr. Hung reacts fiercely to the crowd who are criticizing. The trailer also reveals the scene where the character Mrs. Thu played by Hong Anh suddenly slaps Mr. Hung in public, making the story even more mysterious.
Besides, the two characters Tuan and Vinh gradually reveal their roles in the case, causing viewers to question whether they are just supporting people or really "aiding" a larger plan.
According to the production crew, the movie "Hero" belongs to the psychological – family – social genre, revolving around the story of trust and the downside of fame on social networks. The film raises the issue: when kindness is exploited into a tool to attract attention, the boundary between the hero and the suspect becomes fragile.
The work is directed by Vo Thach Thao, produced by Timothy Linh Bui, with the participation of actors such as Thai Hoa, Vo Tan Phat, Doan The Vinh, Phuong Thanh, Le Thien and Hong Anh.
The movie "Hero" is scheduled to premiere on April 24, 2026, on the occasion of the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday and April 30 - May 1.
