On April 3, the "Mesdames Thanh Sac" crew officially released a teaser trailer and poster, and also set a release date for June 19, 2026. The work is directed by Thang Vu, inspired by a real event that shocked Saigon in 1963.
The teaser opens up the luxurious Kim Do nightclub space - where bright lights hide underground power games. The center of the story is Cam Thanh (Thanh Hang) - the famous "first dancer" and Madame Sac (Hong Anh), the rich and powerful boss. Once attached, the two gradually fall into a spiral of tense confrontation, leading to a series of unpredictable events.
After 8 years since "Bright May", Thanh Hang and Hong Anh reappear on the same screen but in two battle lines. Thanh Hang surprised when she shed her familiar luxurious image, transforming into a character with many injuries, ready to step into a fierce survival battle. Meanwhile, Hong Anh maintains her elegance but contains the coldness and sharpness of the person in power.
The teaser is strongly impressive with a series of violent scenes, including the scene of Cam Thanh (Thanh Hang) being brutally watered, or the fiery slaps between the characters. The climax is pushed up by sharp lines such as "Cam Thanh is out of time" or "Your life is mine", showing that the battle is no longer simply competition but has crossed moral boundaries.
Van Mai Huong's fleeting appearance also attracted attention, marking a new step for the female singer after recent music products. Although not much revealed, her role is expected to contribute to creating more knots for the story.
The retro-style movie poster continues to push up the drama when depicting Cam Thanh with a face full of injuries, driving in an uncontrolled state. The image reflecting Madame Sac and a mysterious man on the car window opens up many questions about the power relationship behind it.
