On June 27, in Can Tho City, Viet News Entertainment Media Co., Ltd. held a press conference to announce art television programs including "Sao Mai Nhi 2026", "Can Tho Fashion Show 2026" and many media and cultural projects that will be implemented in the near future.
Mr. Ngo Anh Minh - Director of Viet News Entertainment Media Co., Ltd., Head of the Organizing Committee said that Sao Mai Kids 2026 is implemented with the goal of discovering, nurturing and honoring young artistic talents; and at the same time spreading cultural values and nurturing artistic passion for the young generation.
According to Mr. Minh, organizing the program during the summer will create conditions for young children to have more time to study, experience and develop their talents. The contest includes two categories: Singing and Modeling, for contestants aged 5 to 16 nationwide. The Organizing Committee will award the Champion, Runner-up titles, Supermodel Kids Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award and many sub-prizes.
After being crowned, the contestants who achieve the title will continue to be trained, accompanied and given opportunities to participate in many art programs, cultural events, festivals and fashion shows organized by the unit as well as major festivals of Can Tho City.
Accompanying Sao Mai Nhi 2026 is the Can Tho Fashion Show 2026 television program. This is a program to promote the image of Can Tho through the language of fashion, art and culture. The collections will be presented at many famous landmarks of the city, contributing to introducing the beauty of people, culture and tourism of Can Tho to a large audience at home and abroad.
On this occasion, Mr. Pham Minh Tam - Managing Director of Van Phat Riverside and Mr. Ngo Anh Minh performed the ceremony of signing a sponsorship contract for the venue for organizing the programs.
Immediately after the press conference, the Organizing Committee officially launched the Preliminary Round of Sao Mai Kids 2026. Many contestants confidently and excitedly showed their talents through singing, dancing, catwalk performances... After each performance, they received practical professional comments from the Judging Panel.
As a parent bringing his child to the competition, Mr. Phu Cuong (Dong Phuoc commune, Can Tho city) assessed the program as a meaningful playground and an opportunity for children to show their talents, cultivate confidence and gain more experience on stage. His family strongly supports his child's participation.
According to the competition schedule, the semi-final night will take place on July 25, and the final night on July 26 at Van Phat Riverside (Cai Khe ward, Can Tho city).
