On the afternoon of May 8, at Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi), the opening ceremony of the painting exhibition "Radiant Heritage Region" took place.

The painting exhibition "Radiant Heritage Region" organized by the Institute of Economics, Culture and Arts in coordination with the Vietnam Center for Preservation of Traditional Arts has officially opened. The exhibition gathers paintings by young artist Nguyen Dang Hai Nam, bringing to the public a unique artistic journey from ancient craft villages to the beautiful natural scenes of Vietnam.

The works at the exhibition are not only paintings but also a connection between the past and the present, between heritage values and contemporary beauty. Through this, the exhibition affirms Hanoi's position as a sustainable creative center based on a thousand-year-old cultural heritage platform, while contributing to promoting the country's image and promoting international trade.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, journalist Vuong Xuan Nguyen said: "The special highlight of the exhibition is the application of digital technology and NFC connection for the first time integrated into fine art works, helping to spread aesthetic values to the community in a modern way. The organizers wish to honor the persistent creativity, the spirit of'Truth - Goodness - Beauty' and the continuation of cultural values between generations of Vietnamese artisans".

The exhibition aims at three main objectives. The first is to honor cultural heritage: from Son Dong village with sacred wooden statues to Chuyen My, famous for its sharp bamboo and apricot art. Each work records the enduring beauty of Vietnamese heritage, where traditional craft villages not only create products but are also the soul and vitality of each countryside.

Secondly, it depicts the natural beauty of Vietnam: from overlapping mountains, vast fields to peaceful fishing villages by the sea. Through each stroke, the public can feel the majesty and simplicity of the country through scenes that change seasonally and over time.

Finally, each painting becomes a tribute and reminder of traditional values that need to be preserved and promoted. Each stroke is a connection with history, with national culture and generational stories about the beauty and soul of Vietnam.

With a harmonious combination of contemporary painting, craft village heritage and modern technology, the exhibition "Radiant Heritage Region" promises to be a meaningful event, contributing to spreading the image of Vietnam with rich identity to international friends.
