On December 12, at Tram Chim National Park, nearly 300 "child" artists who are final year primary school students (grades 4 - 5) in Tam Nong district participated in a painting contest about Red-crowned Cranes.
With the theme “Protecting the environment, protecting Red-crowned Cranes at Tram Chim National Park”, the “child” artists have carefully crafted every line, meticulously mixed every color… with the desire to best express the beauty of the Red-crowned Cranes in their homeland.
With their innocent and creative thinking, the "child" artists surprised the audience and the judges with their works with strange compositions, colors... and especially the way they expressed messages of environmental protection. This is an artistic activity in the series of events of the Program to announce the Project to conserve and develop Red-crowned Cranes at Tram Chim National Park organized by Dong Thap province on December 12, 2024.
After a creative session, the young artists participating in the contest were given comments by the judges to point out their strengths to promote and their weaknesses to learn from. These emotional instructions brought a joyful and useful atmosphere to all contestants and the audience.
Through a fair and public judging process, the Organizing Committee selected 1 First Prize, 3 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes and 10 Encouragement Prizes. However, all works were received by Tram Chim National Park and organized an exhibition to aim at: raising awareness of the importance of the Red-crowned Crane in life. Through that, everyone voluntarily joins hands to preserve and develop the bird species listed in the World Red Book at Tram Chim National Park.
