The Code Meal 2026 program is organized by ASEAN Youth Organization Vietnam (AYO Vietnam) for two days, January 31 - February 1, at the British University Vietnam (BUV). The program is a direct experience activity for teenagers aged 15 - 18.
Representative of the Organizing Committee, Ms. Vu Doan Diem Hang, said that as an organization working directly with youth, AYO Vietnam realizes that many students of this age are growing up in a technology environment but lack space to understand correctly, use correctly and have long-term orientation with technology.
That is what motivated us to initiate Camp Code Cau Com.
This is not like a pure programming camp, but an experiential journey to help students identify their abilities, practice core skills that can be transformed in the future and see the positive role of technology in solving social problems" - Ms. Hang expressed.

Participating in the program as a speaker, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thanh - Education Technology Expert - said that digital skills and digital thinking are becoming basic and foundational requirements for all students who are preparing to enter the working age.
Programs like Camp Code Cau Com are very useful forums for young people who are looking to learn more about the technology field and want to learn more experience from experts and speakers of the program" - Mr. Thanh said.
Nguyen Hai Dang - a student at the High School for the Gifted (HCMC), a camper of the program - said that in the process of participating in activities, he felt that he could go beyond the old molds, be proactive with questions not only about technology, but also interdisciplinary questions such as art and mathematics.
I want to learn how to solve problems with technology; use soft skills such as teamwork, presentation of ideas, presentation to come up with the best strategies and solutions. Thanks to these experiences, I will also understand more about passion, career orientation and the working environment later" - Dang said.

Throughout the program, Code Cau Com 2026 helps young people better visualize the role of technology in learning, career and social life through open sharing and discussion sessions. Participants are exposed to real-life stories about digital transformation, and exchange and ask questions about learning orientation, career and personal development path in the context of rapid technological changes.
In parallel with the sharing content, the program focuses on experiencing practice through in-depth teamwork and workshop activities. From Creative Teamwork challenges to computer thinking and technology application practice sessions with AI support, participants are trained in logical thinking, coordination skills and gradually get acquainted with the process of building and presenting an application-oriented technology product.
