On August 25, the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Danang University hosted the University - Enterprise Cooperation Forum with the theme: "Cooperation of 3 houses in training and research on high-tech development, strategic technology".
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son. Representatives of leaders of ministries and branches (education and Training, Science and Technology, Finance), delegates from agencies, organizations, associations, and enterprises operating in the fields of high technology and strategic technology such as: Vietnam Railway Corporation, Hoa Phat, Thaco, Navigos Group, CT Group, Mitsubishi Electric, Binh Son Refinery, Panasonic... and leaders of 50 higher education and vocational institutions with strengths in training and research in these fields.
The event aims to create a bridge to connect and promote cooperation between universities, corporations and businesses. It is timely in the new context that needs to be a breakthrough for rapid and sustainable development based on high-quality human resources and science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Hoang Minh Son - Deputy Minister of Education and Training said that the development of high-tech and strategic technology industries is of vital significance to Vietnam in the current period. This is not only the main driving force for economic growth, creating new industries, and improving labor productivity, but also a decisive factor in enhancing the country's position and competitiveness in the international arena.
Moreover, these technologies also play an important role in solving social challenges such as climate change, energy security, healthcare and education, while strengthening national security and defense. A high-tech country will be able to be more autonomous and develop more sustainably.
This is the path to bring knowledge from schools to the market, from basic research to practical application, contributing to solving urgent problems of society and improving national competitiveness, especially in high-tech and strategic technology industries such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, biotechnology, renewable energy, semiconductor microchips, high-speed railways... through projects and projects that ministries, including the Ministry of Education and Training are implementing, said the Deputy Minister.
The special feature of the forum is the event of signing cooperation agreements between universities/colleges and corporations and enterprises with 21 signed MOUs. In particular, focusing on cooperation in training and research in strategic areas, priority such as: Artificial Intelligence; blockchain; big data, cloud and quantum computing; next-generation mobile network (5G/6G); robotics and automation technology; semiconductor chips; energy technology, advanced materials; aviation and aerospace technology; rare earth technology, oceans, ground and cybersecurity...
