Through a book donation and charity program lasting more than a month, students of the BOOKERY OF CNH Book Club, Nguyen Hue Specialized High School (Hanoi), donated hundreds of books and many school supplies to students of Huu Lien Primary and Secondary School (Lang Son).
The program is implemented from April 21 to May 29, including two phases: Donating books, items and organizing charity activities in the locality.
According to the organizers, after nearly a month of launching, the program has received about 850kg of scrap paper, more than 700 books of various genres such as textbooks, literature books, life skills books, English books and children's stories. In addition, students, parents and philanthropists also contributed about 8 million VND along with many essential items such as school supplies, school bags and shoes.

During the implementation process, the activity received the response of many students, parents and teachers in Hanoi. Pham Quynh Anh - Head of the Program Organizing Committee - said that in addition to donating books and items, many people also supported the spread of information so that the program could reach more philanthropists.
Teachers, parents and students not only participate in donating but also share information about the program with friends and relatives. That companionship helps us have more motivation in the project implementation process" - Quynh Anh shared.
Quynh Anh added that the book titles selected for donation focus on the learning needs and skill development of students, including children's books, life skills books, literature books, English books and 10th grade entrance exam preparation books.

Recently, the student delegation came to Huu Lien Primary and Secondary School to organize exchange activities, games and reading books with local students. All books, artifacts and donated money were also handed over to the school on this occasion.
Representatives of Huu Lien Primary and Secondary School said that the gifts given will contribute to supplementing the shortage of learning materials, and at the same time create conditions for students to access more books in the learning and skills training process.
Not only carrying the meaning of material support, the program is also an opportunity for students to participate in community activities, contributing to spreading reading culture and the spirit of sharing to areas that are still facing many difficulties.
Sharing after the trip, Pham Minh Huyen - co-Head of the Organizing Committee of the program - shared that the members hope that the donated books will continue to be used effectively and bring knowledge to more students.
