On June 2nd, Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee organized a meeting and commended students who won Silver Medals at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad and the 26th Asian Physics Olympiad.
Specifically, Nguyen Khanh Phuc - a 10th grade student specializing in Informatics, Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted - excellently won a Silver Medal at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad; Bui Anh Tu - an 11th grade student specializing in Physics, Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted and Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc - a 12th grade student specializing in Physics, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted - excellently won a Silver Medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad 2026. Among them, 2 students Nguyen Khanh Phuc and Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc continued to be selected for the national team to participate in the International Informatics and Physics Olympiad 2026.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - said that Ninh Binh province having 3 students participating in national teams participating in the regional Olympics and both winning Silver Medals is a very proud achievement. This result not only affirms the quality of key education of the province but also shows the effectiveness of the work of discovering and fostering gifted students in recent years.
