Khanh Hoa Police open free swimming classes for students during the summer

Khanh Hoa - Students are taught free swimming during the summer, contributing to equipping them with effective drowning prevention skills.

On May 30, news from Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the Youth Union and Women's Union of the Logistics Department have just launched free swimming classes for students within the framework of the 2026 Summer Volunteer Campaign.

The program aims to promote the pioneering and voluntary spirit for the community of youth and women's union members of Khanh Hoa Police, and at the same time contribute to improving drowning prevention skills for children during the summer.

Participating in teaching is a team of officers, soldiers, union members, and youth of the Logistics Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police in coordination with professional teachers from sports centers in the province.

Classes are organized at swimming pools in Nha Trang ward from June to the end of August 2026.

Initially, two classes will be opened at the swimming pool of Hoa Mi Nha Trang Kindergarten, A4 street, Phuoc Hai VCN urban area, Nam Nha Trang ward.

In which, classes for students aged 6-8 are organized on Tuesday and Thursday mornings every week, starting from 6:45 AM. Classes for students aged 9-12 study on Tuesday and Sunday mornings every week, from 8:15 AM.

According to the organizers, the program is aimed at students in difficult circumstances or who do not have the conditions to access swimming classes, helping them to be equipped with swimming skills, aquatic survival skills and basic knowledge about drowning accident prevention.

Each class is expected to have 12-15 students participating aged 6-12 years old. Parents only contribute half of the pool ticket price, the remaining costs are guaranteed by the Youth Union and the Women's Union of the Logistics Department.

The program starts receiving registrations from May 29, 2026 through the fanpage of the Logistics Department - Khanh Hoa Police.

Classes are organized appropriately for each age group, ensuring that students easily absorb skills and are safe throughout the learning and practice process underwater.
