The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) has just issued a document guiding the organization of a gratitude and maturity ceremony for students in the final grades of the 2025-2026 school year.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the gratitude ceremony aims to show gratitude for the nurturing merits of grandparents, parents, and teachers for the intellectual and personal growth of students; at the same time, creating beautiful and deep memories for students before the end of the school year. This activity also contributes to educating awareness, feelings and forming traditional cultural features in schools.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requested that the ceremonies be held in a joyful and warm atmosphere; cultural performances focus on the theme of family, teachers, school and friendship.

Regarding the content of the program, educational institutions proactively arrange the organization time according to actual conditions. After the ceremony part, depending on the conditions, the school can organize more healthy entertainment activities suitable for students' age.

The Department of Education and Training reminds units to develop specific organizational plans, clearly assign responsibilities to the Organizing Committee; ensure that the program takes place joyfully, meaningfully, and achieves educational goals.

Schools are also required to coordinate with the Parents' Representative Board in preparation work; at the same time, ensure security and order, safety, student health and maintain facilities during the organization process.

In addition, the activity needs to be widely informed so that parents can participate and recognize the maturity of students. The Department of Education and Training emphasizes that the organization must be appropriate, lively but avoid ostentation and waste.
