From the days of reviewing
At the end of the 10th grade entrance exam, Ms. Le Hong Doan (O Mon ward, Can Tho city) truly breathed a sigh of relief after more than 2 months of preparing for the important exam with her child.
Sharing with us, Ms. Doan recounted that there were days when her son just finished official classes at the school in O Mon ward, then continued to travel for more than 45 minutes, (sometimes nearly 1 hour if the weather and traffic were not favorable), to go to class to review. Returning home in the evening, her son still studied diligently until late at night.
Seeing my child go to school from morning to night, still diligently studying in the evening, I feel extremely sorry for my child. The family only knows how to pick him up and drop him off, prepare meals and encourage him to have more motivation," Ms. Doan said.
To give her child time to rest during the exam days, after the check-in session, Ms. Doan proactively rented a hotel near the exam site to reduce travel time and help her child maintain a stable psychology.
Sharing the desire to create the best conditions for her child, Ms. Le Thi Kieu Loan (Can Tho City) said that the family always prioritizes preparing the psychology and health of her child throughout the exam preparation process.
I encourage my child to keep a comfortable spirit, arrange reasonable study and rest time. When choosing a school, the family also orients according to their child's actual ability so that they can confidently enter the exam, without creating too much pressure," Ms. Loan shared.
Do not put pressure if the results are not as desired
When candidates entered the exam room, it was also when many parents began moments of suspenseful waiting outside the school gate. Under the scorching sun mixed with sudden rains in Can Tho, many people still patiently waited to pick up their children in time after each exam session.

Ms. Vo Thi Tron (Can Tho City) informed that when taking her child to the exam site, seeing that her child was quite stressed, she herself could not help but worry.
Seeing my child enter the exam room with a lot of pressure, I am even more nervous than my child. While waiting, I just hope my child is calm, completes the exam well and achieves the set wish," Ms. Tron expressed.
This year, the 10th grade entrance exam in Can Tho City has many new points when applying two forms of entrance exams and admission consideration in parallel. At the same time, the number of registered aspirations decreased from 5 to 4 compared to the previous school year, causing many parents to worry more.
I see that this year there are 4 aspirations, so the level of competition will be higher. My child's school registers not only students in Can Tho City but also many candidates from provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region registering for the exam. However, if my child does not have good results, it's okay, I don't put it too much emphasis, as long as my child is comfortable," Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuy (Can Tho City) shared.
