On April 21, 2026, leaders of Cuu Long University had a meeting and worked with the working delegation of the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Long province on the direction of cooperation to promote science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the area.
Attending the working session were Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen, Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Doan Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Truong Trinh Tuong Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department and members of the working delegation.
On the side of Cuu Long University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Rector; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung, Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Lan, Vice Rector; M.A. Nguyen Van Thanh, Senior Advisor of the University Council, along with officials, lecturers, and school specialists.
After the exchange, the two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with many contents, including promoting the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation; scientific research, technology transfer; human resource development and policy consulting and criticism.
Regarding scientific research and technology transfer, the two sides coordinate to propose tasks at all levels, prioritizing high-tech agriculture, healthcare, education, information technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and promoting the commercialization of research results.
The signing session opened up new opportunities for the two units in developing science, technology and digital transformation, contributing to effectively serving the socio-economic development needs of the province in the new period.
