On October 25, according to information from the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police, in the first week of implementing the peak period of checking and handling violations of alcohol concentration according to the direction of the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, the Traffic Police force in the whole province recorded 636 cases of alcohol concentration violations with more than 2.9 billion VND in fines, 118 driver's licenses revoked and 610 vehicles temporarily detained.
Previously, on October 18, following the direction of the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, leaders of the Provincial Police, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Provincial Police simultaneously launched an inspection and handling of alcohol concentration violations in the whole province.
In Dong Nai, specialized teams to handle alcohol concentration violations were established with the Traffic Police as the Team Leader, with the participation of the commune-level police and other police forces.
The authorities have arranged patrol and control to close the route and area according to key time frames.
In addition, the traffic police force also arranged disguised teams to record cases of driving vehicles away from drinking places and used mobile patrol motorbikes to promptly detect and handle cases of avoiding inspection.
