HCMC - HCMC Traffic Police have drawn up records and fined many cases of container and passenger car drivers when checking camera data attached to the vehicles.

On May 14, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that the An Suong Traffic Police Team had just drawn up a record and fined 3 cases of drivers for checking data on journey monitoring devices and image recording devices for passenger buses operating in the area.

Accordingly, at around 4:00 p.m. on May 13, the working group inspected a container truck with license plate 50H-454.xx, towing a trailer with license plate 51R-506.xx traveling on Le Quang Dao Street (Trung My Tay Ward, District 12) driven by driver L.V.T.

After checking, the working group noted that the vehicle had a device installed to record the driver's image but it was ineffective.

Next, the working group continued to inspect the passenger car with license plate 50H-395.xx driven by driver L.H.S, carrying 18 passengers. Through inspection, the traffic police discovered that driver S had used another person's ID card to log in information while driving.

At 5:25 p.m., the traffic police discovered another case of Mr. T.V.T, driving a passenger car with license plate 77F-009.xx, not using an identification card to log in information while driving; the vehicle had a device to record images of the driver but it was ineffective.

All 3 cases above were recorded by the An Suong Traffic Police Team as prescribed.

Recently, the An Suong Traffic Police Team has stepped up propaganda work, as well as strengthened inspection and strictly handled violations related to not using a driver's identification card or using another driver's identification card to log in, having a camera to record images of the cockpit but not working, driving beyond the prescribed time limit...

However, through monitoring, there are still some drivers who, for personal purposes, disregard the provisions of the law, violate regulations in transporting passengers and goods, posing a high risk of traffic accidents.
