Career opportunities for personnel in Vietnam
Discover Finland is a program of Work in Finland, a unit of Business Finland, and an official organization of the Finnish Government specializing in attracting global talents. In Vietnam, this program started implementation in 2025.
Ms. Le Van Anh, Regional Manager of Work in Finland (under Business Finland Vietnam), emphasized the value of Vietnamese talent as well as the role of the project in preparing luggage for experts before job opportunities in Finland.
“Through the Discover Finland initiative, our goal is to provide a transparent and reliable knowledge roadmap to help Vietnamese talents develop their careers.
By helping participants understand the working culture as well as the practical aspects of daily life in Finland, we want to support them to make the right decisions and have the best preparation for future opportunities," Ms. Van Anh said.
Building a knowledge baggage before going abroad
In parallel with the recruitment efforts of Finnish businesses, the Discover Finland program approaches the motto "learning before leaving".
This initiative is co-funded by the European Union (EU) and managed by the Work in Finland division of Business Finland, helping experts prepare for potential job opportunities in Finland through online events, seminars and free online learning materials.
Since its launch in 2025, Discover Finland has expanded its connection activities throughout Vietnam. Through a series of events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, seminars and participation in industry forums, this project has approached more than 600 experts, including 400 people attending events in Ho Chi Minh City in May 2026 alone.
