On May 17, the People's Committee of Cua Lo ward, Nghe An province, said that the Women's Union of Cua Lo ward had just organized the program "Thinking about Uncle Ho makes our hearts brighter".
The program is organized towards the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), aiming to spread the love and respect for Uncle Ho, foster gratitude and training awareness among cadres and women's union members.
Attending the program were representatives of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union; former leaders of the old Cua Lo Town Party Committee; representatives of accompanying units including Hoang Gia Phat Joint Stock Company and Trading, Loc Tin Company, Cua Lo Port Border Guard Station - Ben Thuy and Agribank Cua Lo Bank.
On the side of the Women's Union of Cua Lo ward, there were representatives of the Union's leaders, the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of the ward; Party committees of branches, staff committees, Fatherland Front committees of Vinh Tien, Vinh Tan, My Thang, Hong Phong, Dien Bien, Tran Phu blocks; Executive Committee of the Phuong Dong Business Women's Union, 40 women's union branches and a large number of women's union members in the area.
The program took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, with many meaningful contents. Thereby, contributing to educating patriotic traditions, fostering deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh; and at the same time spreading the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and pride among female officials and members.
Through the program "Thinking about Uncle Ho, our hearts are brighter", each official and female union member continues to raise awareness of cultivating moral qualities, promoting the role of women in the family and society; emulating in studying, creative labor, building the image of Vietnamese women in the new era "Confidence - Self-respect - Loyalty - Competence".
Also on this occasion, the program "Parental Caregiver - Connecting Love" received the companionship of philanthropists, units, and businesses in the area.
The organizers presented 17 gifts to 17 orphans in difficult circumstances. The gifts are practical sharing, not only materially meaningful but also a source of spiritual encouragement, adding faith and willpower for them to rise up in life.
