On August 26, Vinh Long General Hospital organized a ceremony to receive a respiratory function measuring device sponsored by AstraZeneca Vietnam Co., Ltd., with a total budget of about 120 million VND.
Attending the program were Master, Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Thanh Truyen - Director of Vinh Long General Hospital; Deputy Directors Huynh Thanh Huu, Le Thanh Duc and leaders of departments and rooms.
The new device helps medical staff have more means to assess the ventilation function of the lungs, thereby supporting the detection, diagnosis, disease monitoring and treatment response assessment.
According to a representative of Vinh Long General Hospital, the addition of respiratory function meters not only serves medical examination and treatment but also creates conditions for developing specialized techniques related to the field of respiratory medicine.
Through this, the device contributes to improving the quality of diagnosis and treatment, while better meeting the health care needs of people in the area and surrounding areas.
Sharing at the program, Pharmacist Doan Thi Diem - Southern Regional Respiratory Goods Manager, representative of AstraZeneca Vietnam - said that supporting equipment shows the companionship with the health sector.
