HCMC - FV Hospital is preparing to apply integrated AI-powered radiation therapy robots to treat all types of cancer.

In the context of increasingly popular cancer, the CyberKnife S7 robot radiotherapy system offers an effective and less invasive treatment option than traditional surgery or chemotherapy. FV Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City is the first place in Vietnam to deploy this technology, helping to destroy tumors with high accuracy, a deviation of less than 1mm, thanks to flexible robotic arms and real-time image guidance technology.

CyberKnife S7 is not only used for cancer but also for the treatment of diseases such as cerebral vascular malformations, arrhythmia... The system is especially effective for small tumors, residence, near important organs or in patients who are not healthy enough for surgery.

Thanks to Synchrony technology integrated with artificial intelligence, CyberKnife also monitors and adjusts the tumor movement when the patient breathes, helping to reduce treatment time to 1-5 sessions.

The scope of application is wide, from the brain, liver to the prostate, including recurrent or hard-to-reach tumors. Doctor Jean-Marcel Guillon said that health insurance currently covers 40-50% of costs, creating more access opportunities for patients in Vietnam.
