According to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, from a small-scale obstetric facility, Hung Vuong Hospital has gradually developed into a specialized hospital, making many contributions to maternal and child health care.
Especially, at a time when the COVID-19 epidemic is developing complicatedly, the hospital deploys the H.O. P. E Center, taking care of newborns whose mothers have COVID-19. This model not only demonstrates professional capacity but is also a mark of medical ethics and the human spirit of the city's health sector.
The hospital is also a pioneer in digital transformation, developing specialized techniques, innovating management and applying international standards on healthcare quality.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested the hospital to continue to improve professional quality, promote innovation, apply advanced medical achievements, and prioritize safety and patient satisfaction. At the same time, the hospital needs to continue to digitally transform, improve processes, reduce waiting times, train human resources and take care of the lives of staff.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Diem Tuyet, Director of Hung Vuong Hospital, said that the title of Labor Hero is both a source of pride and a responsibility for the hospital collective to continue to strive.
The title can be awarded in one day, but to be worthy of that title is the responsibility of each day in the future," she said.
On this occasion, Hung Vuong Hospital officially deployed the technique of treating uterine fibroids with focused ultrasound (HIFU). According to Ms. Tuyet, the method aims at effective, minimally invasive treatment, reducing damage and preserving function and quality of life for patients.
