The surgery was performed urgently, the doctors removed the foreign object, restored the tracheal chart and treated the agoic vein damage. Thanks to timely coordination, the patient was out of danger and is recovering at the Thoracic Surgery Department.
Doctors recommend: In case of a foreign object stabbed in the neck, absolutely do not remove the foreign object on the spot. The foreign object location should be kept intact, fixed with a clean straw, quickly call an ambulance and take the patient to a specialized medical facility for proper treatment, avoiding the risk of death from bleeding, airway obstruction or infection.
