Up to now, after organizing measles vaccination campaigns, the number of measles cases has tended to decrease significantly and has been gradually controlled in many provinces and cities.
To continue to proactively implement measles prevention and control measures, the Ministry of Health recommends that the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities continue to urgently complete the third measles vaccination campaign, to be completed no later than May 30. Continue to effectively implement expanded immunization work.
Proactively monitor, closely supervise, analyze and assess the risk of local epidemic situation, report to the epidemiological institutions, Pasteur Institute in the region and the Ministry of Health when the epidemic situation tends to be complicated and propose priority solutions to prevent disease in accordance with local reality.
Chairman of Hai Duong People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to review and evaluate the results of disease prevention and control in 2025, especially the results of the 3rd phase of measles prevention and control in the province; promptly detect and handle difficulties and problems of localities and units; formulating and promulgating according to their competence or advising the People's Committee of Hai Duong Province to promulgate documents guiding the implementation of measures to prevent and combat diseases in accordance with regulations; Make unexpected or weekly reports to Hai Duong People's Committee in case the disease has abnormal developments.
