On September 4, Saigon Vinh Long Eye Hospital organized a program to " giving bright eyes" for free humanitarian eye examination for people in Luc Si Thanh commune, Vinh Long province.
This activity aims to support people in eye health care, early detection of eye diseases and guidance on measures to prevent vision problems, contributing to improving the quality of life for the community.
There were 350 people who were examined clinically by doctors, nurses, and eye technicians, directly examined the eye drops, measured vision, consulted and instructed on the treatment of eye diseases.
This activity helps detect early common diseases such as: myopia, hyperopia, cataracts, retina... so that people can receive timely care.
According to the plan, on September 9, the team will continue to examine 350 people in the area, ensuring that all people in need receive comprehensive eye care.
The total cost of the two programs is about 85 million VND, including medicine costs, gifts and 4 free cataract surgeries.
