Caring for and serving people with revolutionary contributions is a fine moral tradition of the Vietnamese people. In that spirit, the health care for people with meritorious services is always of special interest and priority to the medical team. This is both a responsibility and an honor for the medical staff to express their deep affection and the principle of "When drinking water, remember its source", contributing to helping people with meritorious services live long, live well and live happily.

In volunteer programs for charitable and humanitarian medical examination and treatment in the community, the medical team of Hospital 199 always gives family members special care, love and care. Because those are the ones who, whether directly or indirectly, have suffered a part of the sacrifice, physical loss, and spiritual pain, contributing to the independence and freedom of the nation.
Most of these people have diseases, others have chronic diseases, poor health, and difficulty walking. Therefore, health care and rehabilitation help many people have the opportunity to be examined, have a correct understanding of their own skin condition, and thereby have a suitable lifestyle, exercise, and health care.
At the program, 35 patients were examined, consulted, instructed on health care, organized therapeutic activities combined with experiencing rehabilitation machines, contributed to improving physical health, improving mental health, thinking positively, reducing anxiety about diseases etc. The program received the welcome and consensus of the Center's leaders, the joy and thanks of those with meritorious services.
Ms. N.T.T - a relative of the martyr, emotionally said: "She is nearly 80 years old, suffering from some diseases due to old age. At the center, staff are taking good care of them, but the elderly are very happy and reassured when the hospital's volunteer group comes. The elderly have just been consulted by doctors on their health, instructed on how to take care of their own health, examined for medical examination, and practiced on-site rehabilitation.
Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor CKII Vo Thi Hong Huong - Deputy Director of Hospital 199, said: C Community-based rehabilitation is identified by Hospital 199 as an extremely important step in the unit's proactive health care strategy. With this program, the community has more opportunities to access high- and low-cost health care services".

Because most people with meritorious services are policy beneficiaries such as war invalids, war invalids, people infected with Agent Orange, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers are old, often have health problems, and need to be examined and supported to feel secure in living well and improving the quality of life" - Deputy Director of Hospital 199 shared more.
This meaningful activity is not simply a health examination and consultation, but also a deep gratitude from the doctors and nurses of Hospital 199 to those who have sacrificed and devoted themselves to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. This is also an opportunity to contribute to improving the material and spiritual life of meritorious people at the Center in particular and the people of Da Nang City in general.
