On October 7, the Department of Health of Quang Ngai province informed that 100% of hospitals and medical centers in Quang Ngai province have completed the implementation of electronic medical records. Contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, towards building a modern, transparent and effective healthcare system.
The 45-day and night campaign to accelerate electronic medical records launched by the Quang Ngai Provincial Department of Health has created a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the entire industry. From August 1 to September 14, 2025, medical facilities have actively deployed digital records, completed professional processes, trained human resources and put the software into operation. To date, the whole province has 36 medical facilities, including 32 public facilities and 4 private facilities, which have announced the completion of electronic medical records on schedule.
Electronic medical records help patients manage health information for life, fully store medical history, allergies, and periodic testing indicators. It is a foundation for proactive disease prevention and long-term treatment monitoring.
Electronic medical records also bring many advantages to the medical team. Doctors and nurses can easily monitor the patient's condition anytime, anywhere, through the electronic system. Adjusting treatment regimens, organizing interdisciplinary consultations, seeking professional opinions or approving medical orders are all done quickly, accurately and transparently.
