Representatives and members of the 12 international teams participating in the competition are: Saigon Heat.EXE (Vietnam), Alphas.EXE, Tokyo Dime.EXE, Simon.EXE, Hachinohe Dime.EXE, Minakami Town.EXE, Beefman.EXE (Japan), Brisbane City Blue.EXE, Nunawading sentinels Red.EXE (Australia), Shoot It Dragons.EXE (Thailand), Lausanne (Sweden) and Hangzhou (China).
Opening the event, Mr. Nguyen Bao Hoang shared: VBA has organized professional basketball tournaments in Vietnam for nearly a decade. This is a leading international 3x3 basketball event, giving the opportunity to FIBA World Tour - a tournament to find the world champion. On this occasion, we will admire the competitions of the best teams in the world".
Right after the opening ceremony, the world's top 3x3 basketball teams also began competing. The tournament took place over 2 days, February 22 and 23, at the Canada International School Gymnasium (HCMC).
Notably, despite a smooth start, Vietnam's representative Saigon Heat.EXE suddenly stumbled and was unfortunately eliminated on the first day of competition.
