The total prize value of this basketball tournament is up to 250 million VND, with 8 teams competing including: 3F Galaxy, Hanoi Team, Hidden Dreamers, 98’s, X-BDC, In’n’out, Next Level and 3F Phu Tho. These are all teams that achieved good results in the qualifying rounds held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
To increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of the tournament as well as help teams have more opportunities to compete, the tournament's competition format includes 2 rounds: group stage and knockout round.
In the group stage, 8 teams are divided into 2 groups A and B, each group has 4 teams, playing a round-robin to determine the ranking in the group. In the knockout round, the teams will compete in a winner and loser bracket format.
In the winners' bracket, the teams in first and second place in each group will meet in a cross-group match (the team that wins Group A will meet the team that finishes second in Group B and the team that wins Group B will meet the team that finishes second in Group A). The team that wins in the winners' bracket will continue to the next round, the team that loses will be moved to the losers' bracket.
In the losers bracket, the 3rd and 4th placed teams will also meet cross-group (3rd placed team in Group A will meet 4th placed team in Group B and 4th placed team in Group A will meet 3rd placed team in Group B). The winning team in the lower bracket will advance to the next round, the losing team will be eliminated directly.
