On September 12, the Party Committee of Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company (HueWACO) jointly organized the Workshop " Data and data platform in digital transformation of the water supply industry - HueWACO Digital Enterprise".
The workshop took place live at the HueWACO Office with more than 100 delegates from 10 units and connected online at 7 locations across the country.
In his opening speech, Mr. Le Quang Minh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HueWACO - emphasized the central role of data in the digital age, as a " strategic resource" to help realize the goal of becoming a comprehensive digital enterprise.
Since 2023, HueWACO has stepped up investment in data platforms, automation, and improving customer service quality towards 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The workshop recorded 5 thematic presentations revolving around the theme of data and application in water supply management and operation, notably: digital customer data, database to optimize electricity - chemical costs, water demand forecasting models.
In particular, the speech "Innovation in customer management and service with AI" by Dr. Do Xuan Huyen (Hue City IT Center) brought a new perspective on the application of artificial intelligence in the water industry.
At the end of the workshop, Mr. Le Quang Minh presented the topic "HueWACO Digital Enterprise - inevitable requirements and needs", affirming that data is a strategic asset, technology is a lever to improve governance capacity, optimize operations and sustainable development.
The workshop took place enthusiastically and substantially, contributing many solutions and practical experiences in the digital transformation process of the water sector, towards the goal of: comprehensive digitalization - perfect service - centralized operation - smart governance - sustainable development.
