On May 9, Dong Nai City People's Committee just issued a decision to establish an appraisal team for bidding documents and appraise the results of investor selection for the High-Tech Applied Livestock, Production and Processing Agricultural Products Project in Thuan Loi commune.
According to the decision, the appraisal team consists of 7 members working at the Department of Finance, the Department of Construction and the City Construction Investment Project Management Board. The team is responsible for organizing the appraisal of bidding documents and appraising the results of investor selection for the High-Tech Applied Livestock, Production and Processing Agricultural Products Project in Thuan Loi commune, Dong Nai city.
The appraisal results are sent to the Department of Agriculture and Environment (The bidding inviter) for summarization and submission to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for consideration and approval. The appraisal team has the right to request the bidding inviter to provide other relevant information to perform the task.
Previously, on February 3, 2026, the Centered Agricultural Production and Processing Project applying high technology in Thuan Loi commune was launched.
The project has a scale of about 1,500 hectares of land, including: A concentrated high-tech application livestock area with an area of 410 hectares; a production and processing area for animal feed and high-tech agricultural product processing according to a closed chain with an area of 76 hectares; an area for growing fruit trees and medicinal plants with an area of 600 hectares; synchronous technical infrastructure system with an area of 80 hectares.
The goal of the project is to form a large-scale high-tech agricultural zone, integrating livestock - cultivation - processing according to a closed value chain; and at the same time applying high technology, automation, and digitization in production management, disease control and traceability. The project also aims at a circular economy model, reusing by-products and waste, using renewable energy to save energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the environment. Thereby, creating motivation to promote socio-economic development of the locality, attract investment, create jobs, and improve income and people's lives in Thuan Loi commune.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai city is the investor, bidding organization, and contractor selection in the form of international open bidding for the high-tech livestock area project in Thuan Loi commune.
The preliminary total investment is about 30,500 billion VND. It is expected that the entire project will be put into operation in the second quarter of 2029.
