On April 19, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee just issued a plan to support innovative start-ups to participate in domestic fairs and exhibitions in 2026, with many practical contents to promote production and business and contribute to local socio-economic development.
According to the plan, the support aims to help innovative small and medium-sized enterprises have the opportunity to participate in domestic fairs and exhibitions, thereby strengthening connections with industry clusters and value chains in the production and processing sectors.
This policy also contributes to stabilizing and developing the production and business activities of enterprises, creating motivation to promote socio-economic growth of the province.
The implementation ensures compliance with the provisions of the Law on Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises and related legal documents; and at the same time requires publicity and transparency about the content, subjects, order, procedures, resources and level of support, ensuring effective and economical use of the budget.
Beneficiaries are small and medium-sized innovative startups in the province, established and operating in accordance with legal regulations, meeting the criteria in Article 20 of Decree 80/2021/ND-CP of the Government.
Supported contents include site rental costs, design and staging of booths, transportation of displayed products, travel, food, and accommodation costs for business representatives when participating in trade fairs and trade promotion exhibitions.
The maximum support level is no more than 30 million VND/year/enterprise for domestically organized events.
It is expected that in 2026, 32 businesses will be supported under this program.
The selected fairs and exhibitions must belong to the national trade promotion list or be organized by ministries, branches and the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, they must be large-scale, highly contagious, suitable for the production and processing sectors and have the ability to effectively connect to the value chain.
The Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center is assigned to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, localities and business associations to organize implementation; at the same time, ensuring the correct identification of subjects, using capital sources correctly and complying with regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency and efficiency.
