On October 28, in Hai Phong City, the Hai Phong Association of Construction Contractors held a conference with the theme "Cooperation for development: Hai Phong, Vietnamese and international construction contractors join hands to create a new look for Hai Phong City".
The conference was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Association of Construction Contractors, the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, the Korea AI Space Association, more than 40 international high-tech corporations - many of which have invested in building semiconductor factories in Vietnam and nearly 150 typical construction enterprises in Hai Phong.
Mr. Nguyen The Manh, Chairman of the Hai Phong Association of Construction Contractors, said: The Hai Phong Association of Construction Contractors has been proactively establishing many strategic cooperation programs with leading construction corporations in Vietnam, as well as international corporations from Korea, China, Japan, etc.
At the conference, the Hai Phong Association of Construction Contractors signed a series of strategic cooperation agreements with domestic and foreign partners. In particular, the Association signed a contract with UDIC Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Corporation (Hanoi) on developing social housing projects in Hai Phong; Cooperate with Vietnam Industrial Corporation to research, plan, invest and call for investment in industrial park systems and specific production clusters, according to the orientation of "each ward and commune has a specific industrial park or production cluster". Cooperate with Constrexims HOD Investment Corporation in the field of research and development of mid-range and high-end urban areas, towards smart, modern urban areas.
The Association established a strategic cooperative relationship with the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, focusing on investing in high-tech industrial parks, transferring semiconductor technology; Cooperating with Guangzhou Construction Group (China) on research, planning and investment in industrial parks, logistics seaports...
A tripartite agreement between the Korea Semi-Propaganda Industry Association - Hai Phong Association of Construction Contractors - Hai Phong University was also signed, on training and sending Hai Phong students to internships at large industrial corporations in Korea. After completion, students will return to work in the city's high-tech industrial parks, contributing to building a high-quality human resource to serve Hai Phong's industrialization strategy.
In addition, many memorandums of understanding on cooperation in the fields of materials, logistics, urban areas and technology have opened a series of large-scale investment projects in the period of 2025 - 2030.
