On May 26, the M Village hotel chain announced a brand repositioning strategy, transforming into Modern Village Lifestyle. This is the biggest change of the business since its establishment in 2021, and also opens a new development phase with the orientation of building a multi-brand, multi-sector accommodation ecosystem.
According to a business representative, the name change is to reflect the vision of expanding operations beyond the traditional hotel model. Modern Village Lifestyle aims to develop accommodation products associated with modern lifestyles, putting people at the center according to the philosophy "Hospitality by humanity, for humanity".
Launched in 2021 with a co-living model for young customers, M Village quickly expanded its operations nationwide. To date, the business is operating 53 accommodation establishments in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Hoi An and Da Lat.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Founder and CEO of Modern Village Lifestyle said that brand transformation is the next step in the business's development journey after the stage of building the platform and expanding the system. The goal is to continue developing new accommodation models, standardizing service quality and improving management capacity according to international practices.
Currently, the Modern Village Lifestyle ecosystem includes many accommodation brands in different segments such as M Village Hotel, Express by M Village, SAVVY, Signature and Grand Signature. In the near future, the business plans to add new brands in the high-end resort and long-term serviced apartment segments.
In parallel with the brand portfolio expansion strategy, the MORE Rewards Program loyal customer program is also being implemented throughout the ecosystem to connect experiences between accommodation products.
The business said that the identity conversion process does not affect current operations. Accommodation facilities are still operating normally, while all customer data, membership accounts and existing rights are maintained.
